The Green eMotion project was officially launched by Siim Kallas, Vice President of the European Commission and Commissioner for Transport, at a high-level kick-off meeting in Brussels on 31st of March 2011. Within four years, it prepared the foundation for the mass deployment of Europe-wide electromobility.
